% 26.02.2018 By this petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No. 287/2017 under Section 376 IPC and Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act, 2012 registered at PS Sarita Vihar on the ground that parties have settled the matter.

Considering the nature of offences alleged even if the party have settled the matter, the above noted FIR cannot be quashed. Faced with this situation learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition.

Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
