By this petition the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No. 217/2017 under Section 376(2)(n)/323/328/506 IPC registered at PS South Rohini, Delhi on the complaint of respondent No.2 and the proceedings pursuant thereto on the ground that the parties have amicably settled the matter out of Court, they are happily married and living together. 2.

Offence punishable under Section 376 IPC being serious in nature, the above noted FIR and the proceeding pursuant thereto cannot be quashed. 3.

Petition is dismissed.
