1. Learned Standing Counsel for the MCD/respondent No.2 states that the compliance affidavit as directed to be filed on 08.09.2025 has been placed on record and as such nothing survives in the writ petition.

2. It is submitted that in terms of impugned award dated 23.02.2013, the management was directed to regularize the services of the petitioner/workman with effect from the date on which his junior(s) were regularized and to pay the difference of salary from the said date and to pass specific order in this regard.

3. It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the respondent no.2 that in compliance of the impugned award dated 23.02.2013 the respondent no.2/management has calculated the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. arrears of pay difference for the period dated between 01.04.1988-30.04.2019 which come to Rs 28,21,793/- including tax of Rs 5,31,538/-. It is further submitted that the petitioner has already taken an amount of Rs. 20,03,020/- by way of multiple court attachments, i.e. I. Rs 13,50,706/-on 28.10.2014 II. Rs. 2,28,216/- on 06.05.2016 III. Rs 3,50,353/-on 20.06.2017 and IV. Rs 73,745/-on 21.02.2000. Therefore, an amount of Rs 20,03,020/- has already been paid to the petitioner. Further, an amount of Rs 21,63,695/- has been paid to the petitioner on various dates in respect of the other terminal benefits payable to him.

4. It is stated that by way of the Office Order No. ASO-1/Engg. (HQ)/MCD/2024D-1339 dated 17-05-2024, the respondent no.2/management has regularized the services of the petitioner/ workman Sh. Umed Singh, Muster Roll Beldar with effect from 01.04.1988, i.e. the date when his junior(s) was regularized. A copy of the Office Order No. ASO-1/Engg. (HQ)/MCD 2024D1339 dated 17-05-2024 is also placed on record.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that in view of compliance by the respondent No.2, the petitioner is satisfied and does not wish to pursue the present petition any further.
