% 24.11.2017 FIR No.118/2013 under sections 354/452 IPC was registered at police station Kalyanpuri on the complaint of respondent no.2. It is submitted that respondent no.2 and petitioner have now settled their disputes in terms of settlement agreement dated 24th August, 2016, therefore, the aforesaid FIR may be quashed.
Ms. Sonam, respondent no. 2 is present in person and has been identified by SI Sandeep of Police Station Kalyanpuri. Respondent no. 2 admits having settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent no.2 submits that petitioner was her neighbour at the relevant time and that now, in view of the settlement, she is not willing to pursue the aforesaid FIR any further against the petitioner.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice FIR No.118/2013 under sections 354/452 IPC was registered at police station Kalyanpuri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
