This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer:
'i) Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Article 19 & 21 of the Constitution of India and invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C. Seeking And Praying Protection Through S.H.O. P.S. Gandhi Nagar, Delhi To Petitioner at the cited address against Respondent No.5 to 8 and Other miscreants and anti social elements associated to Respondent No.5.'

Mr.Kewal Singh Ahuja, APP for the State has been requested to assist in the matter as Mr.R.S.Kundu, ASC for the State is not present. Learned APP for the State submits that the real dispute between the parties is over the property as is mentioned in the detailed status report. 6.
Learned APP for the State further submits that adequate police assistance has already been provided to the petitioner and writ petition may be disposed of in terms of the status report on the issue of protection to the petitioner.

In terms of the assurance of the State to provide necessary protection to the petitioner, after assessing the element of threat, if any, the writ petition is disposed of.

The State/R-1 shall also ensure that mobile numbers of concerned SHO/Beat Constable are provided to the Petitioner to enable her to contact if necessity arises.
