Learned counsel for the State informs this court that pursuant to the registration of FIR No. 581/2016 on 30.12.2016 under Sections 279/337 of the IPC (on the complaint of the petitioner), investigation had been carried out but the offender could not be traced; the offending vehicle / Mahindra Tractor also could not be located. This status report is taken on record. None has appeared for the petitioner. Petition is dismissed in default as also for non-prosecution.
