% 20.11.2017 Vide order of 19th October, 2016 (Annexure P-1), a minor penalty was inflicted upon petitioner, who had challenged it by way of an appeal (Annexure P-2). The grievance of petitioner is that the said appeal (Annexure P-2), though filed in December, 2016, is still pending. Despite service of advance notice, none appears on behalf of respondent.

In the facts and circumstances of this case, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of this petition with direction to respondent to decide petitioner's appeal (Annexure P-2) by a speaking order within six weeks, if it has been received and has not been decided. It is made clear that if petitioner's appeal (Annexure P-2) has been already decided, then its fate be made known to petitioner within two weeks, so that petitioner may W.P.(C) 10233/2017

avail of remedies against it, as available in law. With aforesaid directions, this petition and the applications are disposed of.
