% 14.03.2018 Aggrieved by the inaction of the respondent in registering FIR against Jukaso company which offered tour packages and took money from the people where after proper facilities etc. were not given and thus offence under Section 420 IPC was committed, the petitioners who are eleven in number prefer the present petition.
On a notice being issued a status report has been filed. As per the status report on similar allegations by other people regarding schemes of holiday packages by Jukaso Hotels Pvt. Ltd., Jukaso Resorts Pvt. Ltd., Jukaso Journey Inn etc., FIR No.15/2017 under Sections 420/34 IPC has W.P.(CRL) 271/2018
been registered at PS Economic Offences Wing of the Delhi Police and is pending investigation.
Inspector Puran Chand, investigating officer of the above-noted FIR is present in Court and states that he had issued notice to the petitioners. He further states that notices issued to petitioner No.2,3,7 have been received back as no such person was found at the place and petitioner No.5,6 & 11 have already joined investigation and the investigation officer has recorded their statement as witnesses in the above-noted FIR. The investigating officer further states that notices to remaining petitioners i.e. petitioner No.1, 4, 8 & 10 have already been issued, however they have failed to join the investigation and he will issue fresh notice to all the petitioners except petitioners No.5,6&11 who have already been examined.
In view of the fact that a FIR has already been registered and investigation is in progress, no further orders are called for. Petition is disposed of.
