By filing the present writ petition from Jail, the petitioner is seeking furlough for a period of three weeks for maintaining family relations and social ties.

Notice. Mr.Rajesh Mahajan, learned ASC accepts notice on behalf of State.

Nominal roll of the petitioner has also been placed on record as per which the Petitioner has availed one month parole w.e.f. 05.08.2017 to 06.09.2017.

As per Parole/Furlough Guidelines-2010, a minimum period of six months ought to have elapsed from the date of termination of the previous parole/furlough.

In the given facts and circumstances, the prayer of the Petitioner for releasing him on furlough is hereby rejected. 6.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.

Petitioner be informed through concerned Jail Superintendent about the orders passed.
