% 14.11.2017 1.

The present petition has been filed by the petitioner praying inter alia for issuing directions to the learned Central Administrative Tribunal to hear and decide O.A. No.707/2017, in a time bound manner. Further, the petitioner seeks advancement of the date of hearing fixed by the Tribunal in the aforesaid O.A., which is 06.12.2017.

2.

A perusal of the impugned order dated 12.10.2017 reveals that though an application filed by the petitioner for seeking hearing of the matter on a day-to-day basis was rejected by the Tribunal, it has fixed the petition for final hearing on 06.12.2017.

3.

We see no reason to interfere in the aforesaid order. However, in view of the anxiety expressed by learned counsel for the petitioner that on the next date also, a request for adjournment may be made by the other side or the matter is likely to be adjourned without the petitioner being granted a hearing, it is directed that neither side shall be accommodated by the Tribunal on the date fixed for final hearing. Further, the Tribunal is requested to take up the matter on the date already fixed, for hearing final arguments.

4.

The petition is disposed of alongwith the pending applications. HIMA KOHLI, J REKHA PALLI, J NOVEMBER 14, 2017 rkb/na W.P.(C) 9827/2017
