O R D E R

% 03.11.2017 It is submitted that during the proceedings before the Family Court, West District, Delhi.

Petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, FIR No. 12/2005 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Tilak Nagar may be quashed. Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Pradeep Sharma of police station Tilak Nagar. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner vide Agreement dated 22st March, 2017 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that her marriage with the petitioner no.1 has already been dissolved by ex-parte decree of divorce

dated 2nd December, 2006 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Delhi in HMA No. 621/2005. Petitioner, who is present in Court, submits that he has accepted the ex-parte decree of divorce. Respondent no.2 submits that entire settled amount, that is, `9.25 lacs has been received by her and she has no objection in case FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind the facts and circumstances of this case as detailed above, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
