O R D E R

% 08.11.2017 Petitioner and respondent no.2 are living in the same locality. Respondent no2 has alleged in the FIR that petitioner had been stalking her. Consequently, FIR No.2346/2015 under sections 354D/506/509 IPC was registered at police station Shakarpur on the complaint of respondent no.2. Respondent no.2 submits that she has now settled the matter with the petitioner vide compromise deed dated 25th March, 2017, therefore the aforementioned FIR may be quashed. Respondent no.2 is present in the Court and has been identified by SI Shri Gopal of police station Shakar Pur. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent no. 2 submits that in view of the settlement, she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed.

Affidavit of respondent no.2, in respect of settlement arrived at with petitioner, is also on record.

Keeping in view the fact that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled amicably, in the interest of justice, FIR No.2346/2015 under sections 354-D/506/509 IPC was registered at police station Shakarpur and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
