Mr. Chadha, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor accepts notice for the State.

The petitioner has been undergoing incarceration pursuant to his order of conviction and sentencing dated 30.01.2017 and 23.02.2017 respectively, which have been impugned in the present petition. The petitioner has been directed to pay a fine of Rs.12,42,000/-, of which a sum of Rs.7,00,000/- is

being paid by way of a demand draft bearing No. 660727, dated 20.11.2017, in the name of Sushil Kumar (the proprietor of M/s Neha Fashions) drawn on Bank of Baroda, Defence Enclave, Delhi.

The learned counsel for the petitioner assures the Court that the said financial instrument is good for encashment. The learned counsel for the respondent has accepted the same without prejudice to his rights and contentions. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if the petitioner is released from custody, he will make every effort to deposit the remaining amount. The balance amount shall be deposited by the petitioner within a period of four weeks from today.

In the aforesaid circumstances, the petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Court concerned. The petition, alongwith pending applications, stands disposed off. A copy of this order be given dasti to the learned counsel for the parties under the signature of the Court Master.
