..... Petitioners Through:

Dr.Charu Mathur, Advocate and Ms.Harsha Vinoy, Advocate versus AIR INDIA ENGINEERING SERVICES LIMITED THROUGH AIR INDIA LIMITED AND ANR.

..... Respondents Through:

Mr.Mukesh Kumar, Advocate for R-1

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SUNIL GAUR

O R D E R

% 13.11.2017 1.

Petitioners claim that they are Additional General Managers in the Technical Support Service Cadre of the respondent and that they as well as the second respondent had joined the cadre of Senior Engineers in the Industrial Engineering Section of respondent in the year 2010 and now respondent No.2 is being called for the interview for the promotional post of Deputy General Manager (Engineering) in the Technical Support Service Cadre of the respondent. The grievance of the petitioners is that they are not being called for the interview despite they being qualified for the promotional post. However, the grievance now put forth does not find a mention in the writ petition. Learned counsel for the petitioner concedes that this writ petition was hurriedly drafted and so the essential facts are missing in writ petition but submits that petitioners' representation sent by W.P.(C) 10027/2017

way of an e-mail on 15.02.2017 (Annexure P-2) has not been responded till date.

2.

Upon hearing, I find that before the interview process is concluded, petitioners' grievance needs to be redressed. Let petitioners file a concise representation stating essential facts within 3 days from today and if such a representation is received by the first respondent, then it be decided by a speaking order within 10 days and the fate of the representation be made known to petitioners within 2 days thereafter, so that petitioners may avail of the remedy as available in law, if need be. It is made clear that this exercise of deciding petitioners' representation be positively concluded before the interview process for the promotional post in question is completed. 3.

With the aforesaid directions this writ petition is disposed of. 4.
