The limited grievance raised by the petitioner in the present petition is for issuing directions to the respondents to consider his representation dated 18.08.2017 and decide the same on merits.

Mr. Shukla, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner had forwarded a representation dated 18.08.2017 through proper channel to the respondents stating inter alia that four Inspectors/CM, junior to him have been nominated above him, which is contrary to the rules. 3.
Learned counsel for the respondents, who appears on advance notice, states that the petitioner's representation is under active consideration of the Department and a decision thereon shall be taken very soon. W.P.(C) 9965/2017

Having regard to the fact that the batch training is to commence on 27.11.2017, the respondents are directed to take a decision on the petitioner's pending representation on or before 18.11.2017, under written intimation to him.
