CORAM:

HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE INDERMEET KAUR

O R D E R

% 27.04.2016 Learned counsel for the petitioner is not pressing this petition. His submission is that he is an apprehension that the trial may get delayed. This Court has been informed that the written statement has not been filed by the respondent and, in fact, an application has been filed by him under Order VIII Rule 8-A CPC seeking extension of time in filing the written statement. The petitioner has no objection to the application. He submits that the respondent should be put to costs. The written statement shall be taken on record, subject to payment of Rs.10,000/- as costs. The learned trial Court shall endeavour to dispose off the petition expeditiously and preferably within an outer limit of 16 months from today. The application filed under Order VIII Rule 10 then would become infructuous.

The petition is disposed off.
