% 11.12.2017 By this petition the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that he has to take care of his wife who got her hysterectomy operation done on 1st November, 2017.
Case of the petitioner is that after the discharge, the wife of the petitioner has developed certain complications. A perusal of the Nominal Roll reveals that in the year 2017, the petitioner has been granted furlough thrice besides a parole for a period of six weeks only whereafter the petitioner got surgery of his wife done. The parole of six weeks was further W.P.(CRL) 3088/2017
extended by two weeks by the DG(P) by granting the fourth furlough. This Court has gone through the latest medical report of the petitioner's wife which does not speak of any serious ailment except post surgery maintenance. Considering the number of furloughs and parole already granted to the petitioner and that the petitioner's wife is not suffering from any serious ailment and requires only post-operative care, this Court does not find any ground to grant parole to the petitioner. Petition is dismissed.
