The petitioner has filed the present petition praying inter alia, for issuing a writ of mandamus to the respondent/CISF, for fixing his pay as per the revised pay structure in Pay Band-I, in minimum pay of (Rs.6460+GP 2000=8460), w.e.f. 1st January, 2006, as per the Rules. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that despite repeated representations made by the petitioner for the relief prayed for in the present petition, the respondents have failed to convey any decision. To substantiate the said submission, he refers to the representations made by the petitioner, enclosed with the present petition and marked as Annexure P-6 (colly.). 3.

In view of the above, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the present petition at the stage of admission itself, with directions issued to the W.P.(C) 9943/2017 Page No.1 of 2

Competent Authority in the CISF, to consider and decide the pending representation of the petitioner and pass a speaking order under intimation to him, within eight weeks from today. If the grievance of the petitioner still survives, he shall be entitled to seek legal recourse. 4.
