The present application has been filed by the petitioner for seeking permission to place on record a copy of the letter dated 17.5.2018, issued by the Railway Board, Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India, stating that the Railway Board has decided to grant the benefit of scheme of allotment of Railway accommodation issued on 21.2.2014, to the petitioner. Vide letter dated 28.5.2018, issued by the General Manager(P) to the Divisional Railway Manager, Northern Railway, reference has been made to the clarification letter dated 17.5.2018, issued by the Joint Director/Estt. (Genl.), Railway Board and directions have been issued to the Divisional Manager to pass consequential orders.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that in view of the subsequent developments whereunder, the respondents have themselves granted relief to the petitioner, which the Tribunal had declined under the impugned order dated 19.11.2016, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition. He however requests that the impugned order may be quashed and set aside, just in case the respondents renege. 3.

Issue notice.

Learned counsel for the respondents accepts notice and states on instructions that appropriate relief has been granted to the petitioner, which had been declined by the Tribunal.

In view of the aforesaid submission, the documents enclosed with the present application are taken on record. The impugned order dated 19.11.2016, passed in O.A. No. 4671/2014, is quashed and set aside. 6.
