None appears for the petitioner.

The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that appropriate orders be issued directing the respondents to preserve the water body located in Khasra No. 22, Khirkee Village and to take necessary steps to revive the said water body.

Mr Gautam Narayan, learned counsel appearing for GNCTD states that demarcation exercise has been conducted to demarcate the area, which was earlier recorded as a Johar. He states that objections against

demarcation have been raised and the same are pending consideration before the Finance Commissioner.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition except to direct that once the land has been demarcated, all efforts would be made by the respondents to remove the encroachment on the said land and ensure that all steps are taken to revive the said water body.

The petition is disposed of. All pending applications also stand disposed of.
