% 05.10.2018 Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Bharat Singh of police station Okhla Industrial Area. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before Delhi Mediation Centre, Saket Court, New Delhi on 21st July, 2017.

She further says that she has no objection in case FIR No.09/2013 under sections 354/509 IPC registered at Okhla Industrial Area is quashed against the petitioner. Affidavit of respondent no.2 in this regard has been placed on record.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
