Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no.1. Son and Attorney of respondent no.2, namely, Mr. Rakesh Ruhil is present in Court. He has been identified by SI Vipin Shokeen of police station Ashok Vihar. Mr. Rakesh Ruhil/Attorney submits that matter has been amicably settled between the petitioner and respondent no.2 before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Rohini on 8th September, 2017 (Annexure P-3). Mr.

Rakesh Ruhil has identified his signatures on Annexure P-3 at point 'X'. He further submits that respondent no.2 has no objection in case FIR No.

86/2017 under Sections 448/420/468/471 IPC registered at police station Ashok Vihar and the consequent proceedings are quashed. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
