W.P.(CRL) 3116/2017 The son of the petitioner has been taken into custody for his involvement/complicity regarding the death of one Brijesh. It has been averred in the present petition that the father and other family members of the deceased/Brijesh have been troubling the petitioner. As such, the petitioner with her family members have decided to leave their residential premises for fear of reprisal.

Mr.Dhan Mohan, learned advocate, has informed this Court that the petitioner and her family members want to vacate the premises and to go to some other place where they would not be hounded by the family of the deceased. It is submitted that while the family members of the petitioner are vacating the premises, proper protection be given to them. The SHO of the concerned police station is directed to afford protection to the petitioner and her family members while they would be vacating their residential premises. For the aforesaid purpose, the officer incharge of the concerned police station is further directed to provide telephone numbers of two police officers posted in the police station to the petitioner and any call from the petitioner or his family members shall be promptly responded to.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the present writ petition is disposed of.
