This petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India seeks a direction to the Deputy Commissioner (Shahdara), Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) to expeditiously dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner / plaintiff on 27th October, 2017. 4.
The petitioner / plaintiff after only few days of filing of the appeal, cannot approach this Court for such direction. 5.
I have nevertheless enquired from the counsel for the respondent / defendant appearing on advance notice as to when will the appeal be taken up for consideration.

The counsel for the respondent / defendant states that he will have to obtain instructions.

Save for directing the respondent / defendant to take up the appeal for admission/consideration on or before 22nd November, 2017, the petition is dismissed.
