% 13.11.2017 The appellant seeks intervention of the Court against an order which merely adjourned the writ petition for hearing on 01.12.2017. It is contended that since the impugned order has not dealt with the request for interim measures, grave prejudice would be caused. Learned counsel highlights that the petitioner is a legitimate voter whose name has not been included in the list and, therefore, her right to contest the elections would be irrevocably prejudiced.

The Court is of the opinion that no intervention is called for. Firstly, the appeal is not maintainable; even if it is assumed that this Court can entertain the appeal, the grant of the main relief is suspect since neither any legal nor any fundamental right appear to be involved in the present case. For the above reasons, the appeal is dismissed along with the pending applications.
