The limited grievance raised by the petitioners herein is the inaction on the part of the Appellant Authority in deciding the appeal dated 18th September, 2017, filed by them against their termination orders dated 4th September, 2017 & 8th September, 2017, passed by the Disciplinary Authority.

Learned counsel for the respondents states that the petitioners have erroneously filed the appeal before the Director General, CISF whereas the appeal lies before the DIG, CISF. The same has been forwarded to the competent authority for decision. He states that it shall take eight weeks for the competent authority to decide the appeal. W.P.(C) 10247/2017 Page No.1 of 2

In view of the statement made hereinabove, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Appellate Authority to decide the pending appeal by passing a detailed and reasoned order within eight weeks. 4.
