% 21.11.2017 Mr Khagesh B. Jha, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, states that at this juncture they would be satisfied if the Directorate of Education was directed to constitute a Fee Anomaly Committee (hereinafter referred to as "the Committee") to enable any parent or guardian of a student, who are aggrieved by the amount of fee or any other charge being levied by any recognized unaided school, to register a complaint either individually or collectively in this behalf; which shall be disposed off by the Statutory Body whilst returning definite findings on the issues referred to it.
Mr Naushal Ahmed Khan, learned Additional Standing Counsel (Civil), Government of NCT, who appears on behalf of the Directorate of Education, states that the Committee, as aforesaid, shall be constituted
expeditiously and positively within a period of two weeks from today, and any parent or guardian of a student so aggrieved would be at liberty to approach the said Fee Anomaly Committee in relation to any amount of fee or other charge being levied by the recognized unaided school in excess of what is permissible in law.
Directed accordingly.
With the above directions, the writ petition along with the pending applications is disposed off.
