1. The Petitioner filed the present petition seeking the following reliefs: "(i) Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction thereby quashing the Award bearing No. 61/86-87 qua the land measuring 5 Bighas 13 Biswas forming part of, Khasra No. 31/13/2 (1-12), 31/14/1 (2-19) and 17/2(1-2) to the extent of 1/2 share, situated in the revenue estate of Village Jhuljhuli, Tehsil, Najafgarh, New Delhi;

Or in the alternative Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction thereby ordering that the Acquisition Proceedings vide Award No.61/86-87 have lapsed to the extent of 1/2nd share qua the land measuring 5 bighas 13 biswas forming part of Khasra No. 31/11/1 (2-19) and 17/2(1-2) to the extent of 1/2 share, situated in the revenue estate of Village Jhuljhuli, Tehsil, Najafgarh, New Delhi in view of Section 24 (2) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and

Resettlement Act, 2013;

(ii) Award costs of the present writ petition in favour of the Petitioner and against the Respondents."

2. Learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks leave to withdraw this petition with liberty to file a fresh petition giving a proper explanation for the extraordinary delay in approaching the Court for relief.
