CORAM:

% 28.11.2017 1.

The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to respondent no.1, Central Information Commission (hereafter 'CIC'), to decide the petitioner's appeal (Appeal No.CIC/SA/A/2016/001774 dated 20.06.2014) in compliance with the order passed by this Court on 19.12.2016 in W.P.(C) 11830/2016 captioned Ajay Gautam v. PIO Delhi Waqf Board and Anr.

2.

The petitioner states that in compliance with the aforesaid order, the CIC had issued a notice for personal hearing scheduled on 18.01.2017. However, the petitioner could not appear before the CIC due to massive traffic jam. The petitioner states that thereafter neither the matter has been listed nor has any order be passed on the petitioner's appeal. 3.

In view of the above, this Court requests the CIC to consider and decide the petitioner's appeal, if not already decided, as expeditiously as

possible and preferably within a period of 60 days from today. In the event the petitioner's appeal has been decided, the order passed would be communicated to the petitioner.

4.

The petition is disposed of with the aforesaid directions. 5.

Order dasti.
