O R D E R

% 19.03.2019 Parties have amicably settled their disputes and a Settlement Agreement dated 14.03.2019 has been executed between them before the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre. In terms of the settlement, the respondent was to pay a sum of Rs.2,90,000/- to the petitioner in full and final settlement of all claims/invoices of the petitioner.

The respondent had also handed over a cheque for an amount of Rs.2,61,000/- to the petitioner, which has been duly honoured. The respondent was to hand over a cheque for the balance amount of Rs.29,000/-, today, to the petitioner. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the respondent would be liable to deduct Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) while making such payment, unfortunately the same has not

been taken into account in the settlement amount. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has no objection if the TDS is deducted while making the final payment, however, the TDS Certificate shall be handed over to the petitioner within a period of one week from today. Learned counsel for the respondent agrees to this condition. Recording the above terms of the settlement, the petition is disposed of.
