% 05.09.2018 Respondent no.2-Chanderpal and respondent no.3 Geeta are present in Court and have been identified by SI Deepak of police station Govind Puri.

Respondent nos.2 and 3 say that they have settled the matter with petitioners of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion vide Memorandum of Settlement dated 7th July, 2017. They further say that they have no objection in case FIR No.454/2015 under Sections 3(1)(ii) & 3(1) (x) of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 and Sections 341/354/323/34 IPC registered at Police Station Govindpuri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Affidavits of respondent nos. 2 and 3, to this effect, are on record Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 voluntarily, in my view, no

fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti.
