Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1.

Respondent nos.2 & 3, namely, Gulbahar Bano and Muskan are present in Court.

They are minor aged about 14 years. They are being represented through their mothers Mazda and Afroz respectively, who accepts notice. FIR No.694/2014 under Sections 354/354-A IPC and Section 10 POCSO Act, police station-Jahangir Puri was registered against the petitioner on the complaint of Mazda. It is submitted that matter has been settled. It is further submitted that the petitioner and respondents are neighbours.

Another FIR was registered against Gulbesh (brother of

Muskan), on the complaint of Kumari Devika (daughter of petitioner Vikram), disputes involved therein have also been settled. Mothers of respondent nos.2 & 3 as well as respondent Nos. 2 and 3 submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioner of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. They submit that they have no objection in case FIR No.694/2014 under Section 354/354-A IPC and Section 10 POCSO Act, police station-Jahangir Puri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondents voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
