O R D E R
% 10.12.2018 By this application, petitioner seeks interim bail on the ground of marriage of his sister. It is submitted that marriage of petitioner's sister is scheduled for 13.12.2018, therefore, he may be enlarged on interim bail for a period of two weeks. Marriage card has been annexed with the application, which has been verified by the State.
Learned APP opposes the grant of interim bail to the petitioner on the ground that petitioner has criminal antecedents. It is contended that apart from the present case petitioner is involved in four other cases, inasmuch as, he belongs to one Manjeet Mahal Gang.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this is the only case under Section 302 IPC against the petitioner and rest of the cases are under Sections 379/307/336/186/353/34 IPC and Sections 25/27/54/59 of the Arms
Act.
Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of this case, it is ordered that petitioner be released on interim bail for a period of one week from the date of his release, subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of `25,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial court.
During the interim bail period, petitioner shall appear before the Investigating Officer twice in a week at 10 am and provide his mobile number/contact number. Upon expiry of interim bail period petitioner shall surrender before the concerned Superintendent Jail. Bail application is disposed of in the above terms. Copy of the order be given dasti to the counsel for the petitioner as well as learned APP.
