By this petition the petitioner seeks modification of the condition imposed while grant of furlough to the petitioner vide order dated 4th May, 2017 passed by the competent authority. According to the petitioner he needs to make arrangement for his wife who is ill. While granting the first spell of furlough to the petitioner the competent authority directed him to furnish personal bond in the sum of ₹10,000/-. 2.

The learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State submits that the wife of the petitioner is not residing with the mother of the petitioner for the last eight years and is residing at her parental home. 3.

Thus no genuine ground having been made to modify the order of grant of furlough coupled with the fact that earlier also the petitioner was granted parole by Government of NCT of Delhi wherein a condition for W.P.(CRL) 3194/2017

personal bond in the sum of ₹10,000/- with one surety was imposed, this Court finds no ground to modify the order.

Petition is dismissed.

Copy of the order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent Tihar Jail.
