After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in case directions for expeditious disposal of the trial are passed, he would not press the present petition at this stage. 2.

Accordingly, keeping in view the number of public witnesses as well as official and police witnesses remaining, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the recording of the prosecution witnesses and endeavour to conclude the same within six months from today. 3.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition.

The petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn. 5.
