O R D E R

% 28.11.2017 The petitioner seeks parole for a period of three months for maintaining the family and social ties as well as for arranging a suitable match for his daughter, who is of marriageable age. The Status Report dated 22.11.2017 has verified the petitioner's address as House No. 2/28, Gali No. 2, Rana Park, Siraspur, Delhi and the fact that the petitioner's daughter is about 19 years of age, although the petitioner claims it to be 23 years. The learned counsel for the respondent submits that the Competent Authority has granted furlough to the petitioner by an order dated 28.10.2017 for a period of three weeks but he has no availed the same.

Be that as it may, the petitioner has a right to seek parole in view of the aforestated verified circumstances.

Consequently, the petitioner is enlarged on parole for a period of four weeks from the date of his release on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.5,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent concerned, subject to the following conditions:- (1) the petitioner shall report to the SHO concerned, Police Station Samaypur Badli, Delhi, once a week on every Tuesday during the period of parole;

(2) the petitioner shall furnish his mobile telephone number to the SHO concerned, which shall be kept operational at all times; and (3) the petitioner shall surrender before the jail authorities at the expiry of the period of parole.

With the above directions the writ petition is disposed off. A copy of this order be given dasti to the learned counsel for the parties under the signature of the Court Master and to the Jail Superintendent concerned through the police.
