1. The present petition has been filed as a habeas corpus petition alleging illegal confinement of the Petitioner No.2 by the Respondent No.2, who happens to be husband of the Petitioner No.1. The Court finds that the parties are already in dispute before the learned Family Court, with the Petitioner No.1 having sought dissolution of her marriage with Respondent No.2. The Court does not appreciate the Petitioner No.1 seeking the present remedy when other equally efficacious remedies are available to her in relation to her prayer that she should be permitted to meet Petitioner No.2.

2. In that view of the matter, the Court declines to grant the reliefs sought in the present petition. The petition is dismissed. However, Petitioner No.1 is at W.P.(CRL) 3247/2017 Page 1 of 2

liberty to seek appropriate remedies as available to her, in accordance with law.
