Both the parties are present in person. For arriving at a settlement a pass over was taken. After pass over, both the parties, who are again present in person, state that appellant will receive a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- from the respondent in full and final settlement of all claims of the appellant in the present litigation. This amount of Rs.5,00,000/- shall be paid in two equal instalments of Rs.2,50,000/- each within a period of three months from today. In case, the amount of Rs.5,00,000/- is not paid within a period of three months from today, the amount will carry interest at the rate of 18%

per annum simple.
