O R D E R

% 01.03.2018 The petitioners are seeking quashing of the present FIR i.e. FIR No.207/2017 registered under Sections 498-A/406 read with Section 34 of the IPC at Police Station Shakarpur on the complaint of respondent No. 2. Respondent No. 2 is present in Court. Her presence has been identified by the Investigating Officer. Parties had been married in the year 2016 and had lived together for hardly less than one week. No child was born out of their wedlock. They have now settled their disputes. They have been granted divorce by decree of divorce by mutual consent dated 01.12.2017. Petitioner No. 1 has agreed to pay ₹18 lacs to respondent No. 2 in full and final settlement of all her claims of which ₹15 lacs already stands paid. Balance sum of ₹3 lacs has been paid by

petitioner No. 1 to respondent No. 2 in Court today. Parties having settled their disputes, it is a fit case where the prayer made in the petition be granted.

Accordingly, to secure the ends of justice, FIR No.207/2017 registered under Sections 498-A/406 read with Section 34 of the IPC at Police Station Shakarpur and all proceedings emanating thereto are quashed.

Petition disposed of in the above terms.
