% 10.12.2018 The present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, has been instituted on behalf of the petitioner, seeks a writ in the nature of habeas corpus, directing the official respondents to produce Ms. Pooja Thapar, the wife of the petitioner.

The Delhi Police has produced Ms. Pooja Thapar, before the Court today.
We have interacted with Ms. Pooja Thapar, Mr. Sanjay Solanki, as well, Mr. Om Parkash Thapar, in Chambers.
In view of the circumstance that, Ms. Pooja Thapar, has appeared before this Court and expressed her desire to reside with her parents, at this stage, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner does not press this petitioner any further.
