% 29.01.2019 1.

Status report is filed on record.

2.

DCP (Crime Branch) is present in court and submitted that the department has already initiated the disciplinary proceedings against the erring officials as per law and further assured the court that in future there won't be any such lapse or inaction on the part of the department.

3.

In view of the submissions made by the DCP (Crime Branch) as well as taking into consideration, the order dated 19.01.2019 of the Additional Sessions Judge, Rohini Courts, Delhi and in the interest of justice, there seems to be no necessity to proceed further against the police department.

4.

On the last date of hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner had submitted that the petitioner had already been granted bail, thus, the anticipatory bail application has been rendered infructuous. Hence, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought to withdraw the same.

5.

The bail application is accordingly disposed of. CHANDER SHEKHAR, J JANUARY 29, 2019/sk
