The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners seeks to withdraw the present petition as he states that the controversy is covered by the decision of the Constitution Bench of the Supreme Court in the case of Indore Development Authority v. Manohar Lal & Ors.: (2020) 8 SCC 129. He however seeks liberty to avail of other remedies in accordance with law including for claiming compensation / enhanced compensation for acquisition of the subject land.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, it is clarified that withdrawal of the present petition will not preclude the petitioners from availing such remedies as may be available in law including for seeking compensation for the subject land.
