By way of present writ petition, the petitioners seek directions to the respondents for issuance of NOC to the petitioners for taking the adopted child to Canada.

A perusal of the proceedings would show that way back, on 04.02.2020, this Court had directed the petitioners to produce a certificate from the Canadian Authorities certifying that the child will be authorized to enter and reside permanently in the said country. Five years have gone by, however, no such certificate has been placed on record. Rather, learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioner No.1 has since expired, as also noted in the order dated 10.10.2023, whereafter, he has not received any instructions from the petitioner No.2.

been complied with till date, the petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioners to revive the same as and when the said certificate is available with the petitioner.
