% 24.01.2018 Respondent No. 2 Sudha Sharma is present in court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Davender. Respondent No. 2 says that she has settled the matter with petitioner No.1 of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before the Mediation Centre, Dwarka Courts on 04.08.2015. Her marriage with petitioner No.1 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce dated 14.02.2017 passed by Family Court, SouthWest, Dwarka. Respondent No. 2 says that she has no objection in case FIR is quashed against the petitioner No.1 and his relatives being petitioner Nos. 2-4.
Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner No.1 and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No.158/2008 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police
station Dabri and the consequent proceedings emanating threfrom are is quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
