I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and have examined the file. The petitioner was granted interim protection by this Court by an order dated 20.11.2017 and was directed to join the investigation as and when required. Undisputedly, the petitioner has joined the investigation since then. Status report reveals that the injuries sustained by the victim are simple in nature. It further reveals that counter FIR No. 403/2017, under Sections 308/323/427/34 IPC has been registered against the complainant and his family members. 3.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the
petitioner is admitted to anticipatory bail and in the event of arrest, he be released on furnishing personal bond in the sum of ` 40,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating Officer concerned. He shall, however, join the investigation as and when required.
