O R D E R

% 22.11.2017 The petitioner has submitted in Court the true copy of the Mediation Settlement dated 15.12.2015 arrived at Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Court, Delhi in relation to FIR No.15/2013 under Sections 341/354/506, IPC 1860 P.S. Tilak Nagar and has identified his signatures at points `A‟ and `B‟ on it. The same is taken on record and is marked as Ex.CW2/A.

Respondent No.3 identifies her signature at points `C‟ and `D‟ on Ex CW2/A.

Pursuant to the settlement agreement she does not oppose the quashing of the FIR No.15/2013 under Sections 341/354/506, IPC 1860 P.S. Tilak Nagar against the petitioner. SI Arun Kumar, the Investigating Officer has also stated that there are no previous antecedents against the petitioner.

Taking into account the mediation settlement arrived at between the parties and the no objection of the respondent No.3 to the quashing of the FIR, and the non-opposition by the State thereto, in the circumstances of the case as there is no reason to disbelieve the statements made by the petitioner and the respondent no. 3 which are thus believed to be true that the settlement has been signed by the respondent No.3 voluntarily without any coercion or pressure from any quarter, it is considered appropriate to quash the FIR No.15/2013 under Sections 341/354/506, IPC 1860 P.S. Tilak Nagar and the proceedings emanating therefrom, which are accordingly quashed. The petition is disposed of accordingly.
