% 23.11.2017 Petitioner nos. 2 and 3 are nephews of petitioner no.1. Respondent no.2 is sister-in-law of petitioner no.1. FIR No.1878/2015 under sections 323/506/34 IPC was registered at police station Malviya Nagar on the complaint of respondent no.2 alleging therein that petitioners were beating her tenant Vicky and when she (respondent no.2) intervened, they beat her up too. Neither respondent no.2 nor Vicky sustained any injury, nor any MLC is on record. It is submitted that with the intervention of family members, respondent no.2 and petitioners have now settled their disputes, therefore, the aforesaid FIR may be quashed.

Respondent no. 2 is present in person and has been identified by SI Rajinder Singh of Police Station Malviya Nagar. Respondent no. 2 admits having settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent no.2 submits that she is not willing to pursue the aforesaid FIR any further against the petitioners.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice FIR No.1878/2015 under sections 323/506/34 IPC was registered at police station Malviya Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
