% 28.11.2017 Petitioners and private respondents have prayed for quashing of the following cross FIRs:- FIR No. 670/2015 under Sections 354/341/323/34 IPC registered at ( P.S. Lajpat Nagar on the complaint of Ms. Garima Singh (respondent no. 3) in Cr!. M.C. No. 4287/20 17. It is noted that husband of respondent no. 3, namely, Lalit Kumar is petitioner in Cr1. M.C. no. 4768/20 17; and FIR No. 671/2015 under Sections 354/323/506/34 IPC registered at P.S. Lajpat Nagar on the complaint of Ms. Monika Pandey, (respondent no.

2) in Cr!. M.C. No.4768/20 17.

Petitioners and private respondents are present in Court along with their counsels and have been identified by SI Mahesh Chand of Police Station Lajpat Nagar. They have settled their disputes amicably before the Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, New Delhi on 61h September, 2017 of their own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Private respondents submit that they are not willing to pursue the FIRs any

further against the petitioners and the same may be quashed. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and private respondents, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice both the FIRs, that is, FIR No. 670/2015 under Sections 354/341/323/34 IPC and FIR No. 671/2015 under Sections 354/323/506/34 IPC, registered at P.S. Lajpat Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Both the petitions are disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti. AX e THAAK9 J.
