% 08.12.2017 Respondent no. 2 has been served and has appeared in Court. Respondent has been identified by SI Jaivind Kumar of police station Kalyanpuri.

Respondent no. 2 admits having settled the matter with petitioners of his own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, vide a Compromise Deed dated 17th May, 2017. In the incident, respondent no. 2 had sustained simple injuries. He submits that he is not willing to pursue the FIR any further against the petitioners and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No.227/2014 under Sections 308/34 IPC registered at Police Station Kalyanpuri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
