% 15.01.2018 1.
The petitioners seek quashing of FIR No. 653 of 2017 under Sections 323/341/506/34 of the IPC Police Station Begumpur District Rohini, Delhi.
2.
It is contended by the petitioners as well as respondent no. 2 that parties have amicably settled their disputes. Respondent no. 2 who is present in Court in person and identified by the IO confirms that he has settled with the petitioners and does not wish to press charges against the petitioners any further. Respondent no. 2 further submits that he has no objection for quashing of the FIR. Furthermore, it is noticed that the offences mentioned in the FIR are compoundable in nature.
3.
In view of the above and the fact that the matter has fully and CRL.M.C. 5325/2017
finally been settled between the parties and also the fact that respondent no. 2 does not wish to prosecute the complaint any further, no fruitful purpose would be served in continuing the criminal proceedings. Further, it would be in the interest of justice that the dispute between the parties are put to an end and peace is restored. It would be expedient to quash FIR No. 653 of 2017 under Sections 323/341/506/34 of the IPC Police Station Begumpur District Rohini, Delhi and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom. 4.
In view of the above, the FIR No. 653 of 2017 under Sections 323/341/506/34 of the IPC Police Station Begumpur District Rohini, Delhi and consequent proceedings arising out of the same are quashed.
